The On-Demand infrastructure relies on Amazon’s AWS offer to provide a cost-effective solution to the scalability needs of the platform. Thanks to Amazon’s platform, adding new servers is a simple task.
The above diagram illustrates the general architecture. The Control Center and Administration Backend serves as a manager for the platform. When a new account is created it is associated with a domain name (customer_x.openerp.co.th for example) configured on the DNS server and the domain’s environment is prepared on one of the Worker (database creation, OpenERP server and web client installation).
